Our costumed entertainers, actors and musicians present a fully scripted stage show full of witty songs, side-splitting comedy, madcap games and audience involvement.

Our shows change regularly and are all centred around notable (even infamous!) historical characters – King Arthur (Camelot Castle and Knights of the Round Table as you’ve never seen before!), Robin Hood (He robbed from the rich and gave to the poor!!), King Henry V111 (He had six wives!), Dick Turpin (Indeed, a strong Dick - he held up stagecoaches with his pistol!), Lord Nelson (One eye, one arm and one.burning ambition.to defeat Napoleon!), The Court Jester (See him juggle his balls!) and Queen Elizabeth 1 (they say she was a Virgin Queen!) PLUS many more – Our nights are full of Crazy Kings, Courtly Queens, Jolly Jesters, Dashing Knights, Lusty Wenches and Merry Minstrels!!

The Lords and Ladies, Masters and Mistresses (– that’s YOU!) are seated at long banqueting tables, and are provided with a bib, bearing a false name, the identity of which is assumed throughout the evening. It’s all part of the fun here at Dirty Dick’s where you can re-live the grand old days of Merry England – escapism at its best!!

Throughout the evening, our costumed wondrous wenches and lusty lads will serve you a most magnificent, and freshly prepared, sumptuous banquet of “Friar Tuck” proportions.

Start with peanuts in their shells and Hot Crusty Bread with lashings (ouch!!!) of butter.

Then enjoy

• Cauldrons of thick, hearty homemade vegetable soup
• Huge succulent roasts of prime, tender Beef with garden vegetables, roast potatoes and all the trimmings
• Delicious fruity rich plum pudding with brandy custard
• Finish with tasty cheese’n fruit, tea and freshly brewed coffee

In over 35 years, more than 5 million people have experienced Dirty Dick’s, consuming over 1.3 million kilograms (several herds) of prime roast beef, savouring 1.6 million litres of hearty vegetable soup, over 650,000 giant plum puddings and swilling, approximately, 5.8 million litres of ale – that’s over three Olympic swimming pools!! More than 1300 actors and musicians have appeared in over 30,000 performances.
